This vegetarian burger is a delicious alternative to the classic beef burger. It’s made with a combination of peas, feta, and egg that makes it juicy and flavorful.
- 1 cup of peas
- 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, mash the peas until they are mostly smooth. Add the feta cheese and mix together until combined. Add the breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and mix until everything is evenly distributed. Form the mixture into 4 patties and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until patties are golden brown. Serve on your favorite bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite condiments.
