Vanilla-Pistachio Yule Log

A classic Christmas dessert, this Vanilla-Pistachio Yule Log is sure to please your guests! The light sponge cake is filled with a creamy vanilla and pistachio mousse and topped with an impressive chocolate ganache.


  • For the Sponge Cake:
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • For the Pistachio Mousse:
    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
    • 1/4 cup pistachios, finely chopped
  • For the Chocolate Ganache:
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
