Vanilla Bavarois

This delicious vanilla bavarois is a perfect dessert for any occasion. It’s easy to make and can be served with a variety of toppings and accompaniments. The creamy texture of the custard combined with the sweet flavor of the custard make this a crowd-pleaser!


  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, eggs, salt, and cornstarch.
  2. Whisk in the milk until everything is well blended.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the mixture into a bowl and let cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, fold in 1 cup of whipped cream.
  7. Pour into individual serving dishes or ramekins and chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
