Turkey with Chestnuts – The Machine to Explore

This delicious dish is a combination of turkey, chestnuts and spices. It’s perfect for a festive dinner with friends and family, or just a simple meal on its own. The combination of flavors creates a unique experience that you won’t forget.


  • 1 turkey (about 4 pounds)
  • 3 cups chestnuts, peeled and cooked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large roasting pan, place the turkey and chestnuts. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with the onion, thyme, rosemary and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
