Tajine of Chicken Breast with Dried Fig in the Cookéo

This tajine of chicken breast with dried fig is a delicious dish full of flavor. It’s easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. Here is the recipe:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup dried figs, chopped

Heat the olive oil in the Cookéo on the “Sauté” mode. Add in the onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the spices, and cook for another minute. Add in the chicken breasts, and pour in the broth. Secure the lid, set to “Stew” mode, and set the timer for 20 minutes.

When finished cooking, stir in the dried figs. Serve with your favorite side dish.
