Tajine of Chicken and Figs

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 12 dried figs, halved lengthwise
