This Spaghetti and Chicken Drumsticks Tunisian-Style dish is a delicious mix of flavors and textures. The chicken drumsticks are cooked in a flavorful tomato sauce along with garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and capers. The spaghetti is cooked al dente and tossed with the sauce for a perfectly balanced meal that everyone will love.
To make this dish you will need:
- 4 chicken drumsticks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- ΒΌ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken drumsticks and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, tomato sauce, capers, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
