- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken drumsticks and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Add the onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, tomato sauce, capers, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Return the chicken drumsticks to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over them. Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain well.
Add the spaghetti to the skillet with the sauce and toss to combine. Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
