Roast Chicken with Soy Sauce

This roast chicken with soy sauce is a delicious and easy dish to prepare. It’s perfect for a special dinner or just a regular weeknight meal. The chicken is roasted in the oven and then finished off with a homemade soy sauce glaze that adds an extra layer of flavor.


  • 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the chicken pieces on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic and black pepper.
  2. Roast in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and pepper.
  4. When the chicken is done cooking, brush it with the soy sauce mixture and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
