Pasta with Chicken and Pesto

This delicious pasta dish combines juicy chicken, fresh basil pesto and al dente spaghetti for a flavorful meal that’s easy to make. Paired with a simple garden salad, it makes for a great lunch or dinner.

  • 1 package of spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Add the pesto, stirring to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and stir until all of the ingredients are evenly combined.

Serve warm with your favorite salad.
