This low-calorie apple cake is delicious and easy to make. It’s the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth without overindulging!
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan with butter.
- In a large bowl, mix together 1¼ cups (155 g) of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons (10 g) of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) of salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together ¾ cup (180 ml) of vegetable oil, 1 cup (200 g) of white sugar, and 2 eggs until light and creamy.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Peel and core 3 apples, then cut them into small cubes. Add them to the batter and gently fold them in with a spatula.
- Pour the batter into the prepared springform pan and smooth out the top with a spatula. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
