This classic French recipe is a real family favorite. It’s full of flavor, and so easy to make – you just need a few ingredients and you’ll have dinner on the table in no time!
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 g (7 oz) mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken thighs and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and add the parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer over low heat until the chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
