Ghriba is a traditional Moroccan cookie, made with sesame and cocoa. This recipe is simple, yet yields delicious and flavorful cookies!
- 2 cups sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix together the sesame seeds, cocoa powder, honey, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
Form the mixture into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with your fingers to form discs.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool completely before serving.
