Ingredients
- 1 loaf of sweet bread, sliced into 1-inch thick slices
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Caramel Sauce
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup or honey
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
