This delectable semi-frozen dessert combines the sweetness of pears with the nuttiness of hazelnuts and the richness of chocolate. It’s a perfect end to any meal!
- 4 ripe pears, peeled, cored and diced
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the pears, chocolate chips, hazelnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture is thickened and the pears are soft. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Serve warm or chilled in individual bowls or glasses. Enjoy!
