Chicken Curry with Coconut Milk – Easy and Delicious Recipe

This delicious and fragrant chicken curry is a simple recipe that will bring lots of flavor to your table. It combines the earthy and spicy flavors of curry powder with the sweetness of coconut milk. Serve this curry with steamed rice or naan bread for a complete meal.


  • 1 kg chicken thighs, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the chicken cubes and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for another few minutes, stirring often.
  3. Stir in the curry powder and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk, stir to combine, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover the pot and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve with steamed rice or naan bread.
