Chicken and Chorizo Skewers with Paprika

  • 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes
  • 8 oz (225 g) cured chorizo sausage, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine the chicken, chorizo, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Mix until everything is evenly combined.

Thread the chicken and chorizo onto skewers. Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking time, until the chicken is cooked through and both the chicken and chorizo are nicely browned.

Serve hot with your favorite sides.
