Brownie à l’okara de soja

This delicious vegan brownie recipe is made with okara, a by-product of soya milk. Okara is a great source of plant-based protein, fibre and minerals, and it adds an extra moistness and richness to this brownie recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup okara
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the okara, vegan butter, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder until well combined.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. Add the flour and stir until just combined (do not overmix).
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
