Brochettes de poulet à la sauce basque Sakari

This recipe is perfect for a tasty and easy dinner. It features skewered chicken marinated in the traditional Basque sauce Sakari. Serve this with a side salad or french fries for an amazing meal!

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons Sakari sauce
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers

In a bowl, mix together the garlic, olive oil, Sakari sauce, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Add the cubes of chicken and stir until everything is evenly coated in the marinade. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

When ready to cook, preheat your grill or broiler to high heat. Thread the cubes of chicken onto wooden skewers. Grill or broil the skewers until they are cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.

Serve immediately with a side of your choice.
