These nut-shaped hazelnut cookies are a delicious treat for any occasion. With a crunchy exterior and a light and fluffy interior, these treats are sure to be a hit!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup butter, melted and cooled
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
- Add the butter, eggs, and vanilla extract and mix until just combined.
- Stir in the chopped hazelnuts.
- Using a tablespoon measure or cookie scoop, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Gently press down on each cookie to flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
